My Approach

As part of the Counselling it would be my joy to come alongside you in your spiritual life and in your relationship with God. My heart is to demonstrate grace and compassion, as I know what it is to sit in guilt and shame.

This is a judgement free zone!

I’ll structure our sessions to suit you, depending what you’d like to gain from them. The sessions could include, prayer, meditation, referring to the bible and Freedom Prayer.

My Qualifications and Experience

As an accredited counsellor with the Association of Christian Counselling I am able to offer christian counselling which takes into consideration; your relationship with God, spiritual practices, biblical perspectives, difficult church experiences, supporting you to have your own encounters and walk with God.

Over the past ten years I have worked with; church members, pastors and leaders, their spouses and their children, as well as those who have left church and those who are not sure what they believe.

I have over 45 years experience, exploring my own relationship with God in the face of various difficulties and some very painful church experiences. I bring to bring to our sessions a sound knowledge of the Bible and theology; a commitment to prayer; a wealth of life experience; a compassion for people and a hunger to continue to learn and grow. I’ve worked in pastoral settings with women, children and young people for nearly 40 years and I’ve have trained in many different prayer ministry models.
